Community, yours to build.
ParelVR is an upcoming social VR platform where players explore user-built worlds, express themselves through custom avatars, and grow real communities — built for a mature, 16+ audience.
A social VR platform built for real connection.
ParelVR is being developed by Parel LLC with a focus on immersive social interaction, community building, and exploration. Players enter shared virtual worlds to meet new people, communicate naturally, and take part in interactive experiences in full VR.
Unlike most social VR platforms, ParelVR is designed from the ground up as a 16+ experience, aiming for a more mature and safer community — with access gated through a Steam purchase as an age-verification measure.
The project is still under active development with no official release date yet, but the team shares regular progress updates through the community channels below.
A real shot at being discovered.
ParelVR isn't just a place to log in and hang out — it's being built as a launchpad. Somewhere you can walk into a world someone built from nothing, wear an avatar a total stranger designed, hear a track an unsigned artist dropped straight to the platform, and then turn around and build your own version of all of it. Connecting, creating, and growing something bigger aren't separate features here. They're the same loop.
You shouldn't need an existing following to get a fair shot. A world builder with a handful of friends and a good idea should be able to grow a real community around it. A first-time developer should be able to put a game in front of thousands of players who never would have found them anywhere else. A 3D artist should be able to publish a piece and watch strangers wear it. An independent musician should be able to drop a track straight to ParelVR players and build an audience from absolute zero. That's not a nice-to-have — that's the bar the whole platform is being built toward.
And the bigger this gets, the more becomes possible. Every creator who takes off here means more worlds to explore, more avatars to wear, more games to play, more music to hear, more communities to join — which pulls in the next wave of people who go on to build the wave after that. This is still early. The tools, SDKs, APIs, and systems shipping today are the floor, not the ceiling, of what's coming.
You're not just signing up for ParelVR. You're getting in at the beginning of what it's going to become — and the next massive world, the next breakout developer, the next artist people recognize platform-wide, could start with one person deciding to give it a shot. Bring your friends. Build something. Be early.
Start CreatingA mature community doesn't happen by accident.
The 16+ gate is a starting point, not the whole plan. Here's what's actually built into the platform to keep it that way.
Verified 16+ Access
Every player enters through a Steam purchase, which doubles as an age-verification step — not just a checkbox at signup. It's a real gate, not a formality.
Active Anti-Cheat
Anti-cheat protection runs underneath every session, keeping shared worlds fair for everyone in them.
Community-Run Groups
Players organize their own communities with roles, moderators, and announcements.
A Team That Listens
Bug reports, player reports, and ban appeals all go to a real support queue.
Everything you need to build a life in ParelVR.
From your first world to your first look, ParelVR gives players and creators the tools to shape the experience together.
Wander into somewhere new
Step into worlds built by the community, from cozy hangouts to full-scale experiences, with public instances you can join and portal between instantly.
Look like you
Wear, favorite, and switch between avatars built by the community — or publish your own with the Avatar SDK for others to discover.
Find your people
Start a group, set up roles and moderators, and grow a crew around the worlds and experiences you care about most.
Build with the same tools we do.
ParelVR worlds and avatars are built in Unity and published through our official SDKs — the same pipeline used internally, not a cut-down public version of it.
Publish and update straight from the Editor, manage collaborators and release status per project, and hit the same REST API we do — the docs let you run real requests against it right from the page.
